The East India Cotton Association (EICA) will organize a meeting at Surendranagar in North Gujarat on January 22, 2006.
The meeting is being held under the ageis of Surendranagar Cotton, Oil and Oilseeds Association.
Different aspects for promoting cotton will be discussed among experts from various fields.
The Association will also hold an awareness programme on development of cotton futures.
EICA was established as an All India Body not only to regulate forward transactions in cotton but also to regulate spot deliveries in Bombay as well as conduct out-station delivery contracts. The Association is also authorised to import cotton.
