Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) reported the import and export results of Beijing for 2005.
Total import and export of Beijing was US$125.85 billion in 2005, import was US$94.93 billion and export was US$30.92 billion, up by 28.3 percent and 49.5 percent separately.
Total import and export of Beijing enterprises exclusive of enterprises directly under the central government amounted to US$40.32 billion, up by 43.6 percent; import was US$23.22 billion and export was US$17.1 billion, up by 33 percent and 61.1 percent separately.
