Teijin plans to expand textiles output in China

Osaka based textile major Teijin Ltd is planning to raise textile production.

The factory will increase textile production at its major plant in China and boost sales, here.

Since 1994, Nantong Teijin Co has been operating the Teijin factory in Jiangsu Province of China. This Natong City-based factory will expand production from the current 5 million meters of synthetic fabric per month to 6 million meters by the end, this year.

Synthetic fibers producer Teijin Limited began operations way back in 1918 as a pioneer in the rayon textiles industry from Japan, and textiles business has always been central to the company's operations.
