Success for knitwear solutions at textile events in Paris

There are a lot of unexpected colours coming through which is very good to see...” And that, in spite of the difficult economic context, was driving the optimism and energy that could be felt throughout the aisles and the stands. As Olivia Merquior, International Manager of the Brazilian Grupo Saccada, said, “The show was surprising. There wasn’t any feeling of the economic crisis. On the contrary, the mood among exhibitors was optimistic.» An impression shared by M. Zheng Anzheng, President of the Anzheng Group of China: “The market is very difficult right now, in China as in Europe. Yet I was touched and moved by the joyful atmosphere, and the richness of the Première Vision offer... I said to myself it isn’t the end of the world yet. Première Vision has given me hope in our industry, we’re going to fight!”

Similarly, in the aisles of the show dedicated to yarns and fibres, visitors looked relaxed in their hunt for innovations for summer 2014. They enjoyed the product proposals, which were much more numerous than last year, due to the increased offer of the show. With its new context - an offer for wovens and circular knits - Expofil was clearer and more readable to visitors and buyers.
