Restart date of JX Nippon naphtha cracker undecided

The restart date of a JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corp operated naphtha cracker, shutdown in August, has not been decided yet.

The cracker located in Kawasaki was shut down on August 13 for a scheduled turnaround, a JX Nippon official told fibre2fashion.

He however, could not disclose the date of the resumption of the naphtha cracker, which has a capacity of 448,000 tons per year.
