UBS Fund Management (Switzerland) AG, Basel, has informed Rieter Holding Ltd., Winterthur, on 23 January 2006 that it has fallen below the limit of 5 percent of the voting rights recorded in the Register of Companies for Rieter Holding Ltd.
According to the notification by UBS Fund Management (Switzerland) AG it fell below 5% on 18 January 2006.
Rieter is a Swiss-based industrial group with activities in all regions of the world. It is a leading supplier of products and services for the textile, automotive and plastics industries.
Rieter's worldwide workforce totals approximately 13500 employees, some 13% of whom are based in Switzerland.
The group comprises two divisions: Rieter Textile Systems develops and produces machinery and integrated systems for converting fibers and plastics into yarns, nonwovens and pellets.
