Starting as a textiles manufacturer in 1948, Grasim's businesses today comprise Viscose Staple Fibre (VSF), cement, sponge iron, chemicals and textiles.

The Grasim textile division is located 127 kilometers south west of Delhi at Bhiwani, Haryana.
