JK Handicrafts Corporation to employ youth from the State

Early staffing for the J&K Handicrafts Corporation Sales and Exports has been directed by Abdul Rashid Dar, the Chairman of Corporation.
Dar also emphasized recruitment procedure should be as clear as crystal and only meritorious and suitable candidates should be selected by lawful means through State Recruitment Authorities.
Inclusion of young candidates would accelerate the development of the Corporation, and its activities could be further extended.
Finding solution of unemployment in handicraft, Dar said that it could improve economy also.
Recognizing the need to organize handicrafts sector in the state, Dar suggested Corporation to expand its activities and to set up cooperative societies of craftsmen and artisans to provide them promotion and marketing opportunities of their products.
