Seminar on non-woven technology lined up for Feb 17

Non woven textiles is considered to be the next big thing in the textile sector, today. Products include geothermal textiles, wipes, napkins, filters, sanitary pads etc. A seminar of one day on non woven technology is scheduled to be held on February 17, at Coimbatore zone, by the Confederation of Indian Industry, a CII release said here today.
The seminar is being organised together with Southern India Mills Association (SIMA).
The seminar would focus on manufacturers of machinery, buyers and presentation of case studies by Indian companies.
D Bandhyopadhyay, Deputy Director in Charge, Regional Office of the Textile Commissioner, Dr Arindum Basu, Director, Southern India Textile Research Association and S V Arumugam, Chairman, Sima, would be among those addressing the seminar, mentions the official release.
