Cotton prices stayed put at yesterday's Rs2535 per maund mark even today, according to Karachi Cotton Association (KCA).
As per the Cotlook Indices for February 16, 2006, the A Index was 61.15 and B Index stood at 58.00.
New York Cotton Market Closing Delivery on February 16, 2006 has predicted negative changes for the month of March 06 and May 2006.
Opening price for March 2006 will be $57.20; high and low levels will be $57.25 and $56.26; previous rate was $56.92 and the same closed at $56.46. This shows a decrease of $0.46.
In May 2006, cotton price will open with $57.45 with high and low levels at $57.50 and $56.51 respectively; previous rate was $57.05 and close at $56.62. This also reflects a reduction of $0.43.
