Joan Fabrics, Hangzhou Yongsheng JV for textile complex

Joan Fabrics Corp. has collaborated with Hangzhou Yongsheng Textile Group to set up a state-of-the-art textile-manufacturing complex in Hangzhou, China.
Elkin McCallum, Chairman, Joan, informed media that this was a step to offer Chinese customers a wide range of textile goods and solutions to satisfy the competitive needs of the industry.
The construction is scheduled to start by summer 2006.
Hangzhou Yongsheng is involved in industry investing, fabrics weaving, dyeing and finishing, garments processing, foreign trade agency and waterpower generation.
