Workwear maker Dickies is taking the 15th Annual American Worker of the Year Awards on the road, after 14 years and over 100,000 essay entries.

The Dickies American Worker of the Year Mobile Tour Presented by Pro Bullriders Inc will criss-cross the nation from now through April, accepting written or audio nominations at sports venues, jobsites, retailers and other stops coast-to-coast where the colorful Dickies trailer pulls up.

Entrants will be asked to describe in 100 words or less their nominee -- a spouse, relative, friend, customer, employer, even themselves -- deserves special recognition as an American Worker.

Jon Ragsdale, Vice President of marketing for Dickies, the world's dominant workwear brand said, "We're hitting the road to find true-blue Americans who work hard to support their families. To Dickies, they all deserve a pat on the back."

"We are thrilled to partner with the PBR and take this right into the heartland," Jon added.

On June 5th, five finalists will be revealed and America will vote on their favorites. America's choice wins the national title, and will receive a 2007 Ford F150 truck equipped with wheels and a special suspension by FabTech, the custom-painted BMC Chopper, and a VIP stay at the Mandalay Bay for the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas.

All five finalists will receive an 'Ultimate Grill Setup' and 'Brats for a Year' from Johnsonville Brats, and boots from Dickies Footwear. Fifty state winners will be announced on Labor Day and will receive hundreds of dollars in prizes and a Dickies jacket and gift certificate.
