TEXFAIR, invites international buyers to Brazil
Between May 30 and June 2, 2006, the 7th Edition of the International Textile Industry Fair will be held in the city of Blumenau, in the south of Brazil. The Fair is geared towards national and international clients with approximately 180 exhibiters and more than 350 brands. It gathers articles from the Homewear, Decorative Fabrics, Knitwear and Apparel segments.
ABIT, Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association has a program (Business Meeting) which brings international buyers to get to know the Brazilian textile and apparel market. With the support of APEX - Brazil (Exportation and Investment Promotion Agency), the objective of this program is to promote contact between Brazilian companies and the international market, thus creating new business opportunities.
Texfair is a showcase where Brazilian product's modernity, quality and technology are exhibited to a public interested in doing excellent business. In its last edition alone the event received a record number of visitors, reaching 25 thousand national and international buyers, with the presence of nearly 34 countries, including: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Spain, United States, Finland, France, England, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Russia, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Blumenau is in the state of Santa Catarina, where a large part of the national textile market is concentrated. It was colonized by Germans and Italians, and during the months of May and June the climate is mild and pleasant.
