Cotton prices are stable at Rs2550 per maund today, according to the sources of Karachi Cotton Association (KCA).
Two cotton stations recorded transactions of 1600 bales; at Rahim Yar Khan Station 800 bales transacted for Rs2550 per maund and at Upper Sindh, same amount of bales changed hands for Rs2575 per maund.
According to Cotlook Indices on February 22, 2006, A Index stood at 60.35 and B Index was 57.75.
Cotton Futures at New York increased by $0.22 to close at $56.90 for March - 06.
For May futures, cotton prices went up $0.81 to close at $57.20.
