IC Companys posts 57% earnings hike in H1

The objective of the acquisition is to strengthen the European production platform as an alternative to sourcing from US-dollar-based regions, primarily China. The acquisition forms part of IC Companys' strategic goal of having an efficient and flexible production platform with a high degree of diversification of the exchange-rate and political risks.

IC Companys A/S - The group's principal activities are to design, market and sell fashionwear and accessories. The group's three segments are: Wholesale: comprises of sales to independent retailers and concept stores; Retail: comprises of the Group's own stores and Outlets: handles sales of excess products after the close of seasons.

The brands under which the products of the group are sold are Jackpot, Cottonfield, InWear, Matinique, Part Two, Peak Performance, Saint Tropez, Designers Remix Collection, Soaked in Luxury, Tiger of Sweden and By Malene Birger. It owns stores in Belgium, Denmark, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Canada, Finland, the UK, Austria, Norway, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Lithuania, Spain and France.
