Country participations at TEXMAC INDIA 2007 are expected among others from Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Great Britain, Spain, France, Turkey, Korea, China, Japan.
For the import of textile machinery, over 600 million US-Dollars are already being spent each year and this trend is on the increase. For the modernisation of production facilities, investment requirements are high. This is determined by three essential factors:
1 EU and USA import quotas have been abolished since January 2005 2 At the same time, import duties for textile machinery were reduced to 10% in India 3 The Indian government provides investment assistance for the procurement of new machinery
