B W Lam, CEO, Hong Kong Pacific Textile Holding Ltd, met Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, to discuss possibilities of setting up a Rs500 crore textile plant in collaboration with Oswal Group, at Budhni in Sehore district, Madhya Padesh, India.
Babulal Gaur, Industry Minister and Oswal Group MD, S P Oswal, were present at this meeting.
Mr Oswal informed that the group planned to establish a textile-engineering institute in the state.
The group is also plans to put up a Rs 500-crore yarn mill at Satlapur (Mandideep).
Oswal Group, based at Ludhiana, is a premier Textile Group of Northern India, mainly into spinning and dyeing.
