Compared to the fourth quarter of 2004, GDP rose by 3.2 percent in the US (after +3.6 percent in the previous quarter) and by 4.5 percent in Japan (after +2.8 percent).
GDP grew by 1.3 percent in the euro-zone and by 1.6 percent in the EU25 in 2005 Over the whole year 20053, GDP grew by 1.3 percent in the euro-zone and by 1.6 percent in the EU25, compared to +2.1 percent and +2.4 percent respectively for 2004.
