Textile leader Saurer Management AG informed that WinPro spinning/twisting process provides long staple producers with a vast variety of technological and technical innovations, giving them overwhelming new opportunities in the market.
With the new WinPro spinning/twisting process, all long staple fibers and blends can be produced as 2- and 4-fold yarns. For feeds with a staple length of 50 - 220 mm, the range is practically unlimited, from 100% wool, acryl, blended yarns, polyester, viscose, silk and cashmere through to soya fibers.
In the yarn range, a wide spectrum of 2- and 4-fold yarns between Nm 3 and Nm 60 yarn fineness can be produced. It is also possible at any time to add elastic and non-elastic yarn components with or without draft as a core thread. The covering by the wrapping material can only be described as optimal.
- High speeds of up to 250 m/min - 50% lower production costs - High degree of production flexibility - 80% less waste - Reduction of the throughput time and amount of material in production - Fewer splicing positions - Large packages
All in all, this represents a quantum leap in the production of long staple yarns. Now it is up to the manufacturers to work with us to benefit from this opportunity.
The productivity and flexibility plus the quality of the WinPro yarns produced are extremely convincing elements of the WinPro spinning/twisting process. For instance, a WinSpin with 48 spinning positions operating in 3 shifts produces 1200 kg of knitting yarn of Nm 56/4 per day, but requires energy costing only 40 Euro to do so. The delivery speed is up to 250 m/min. Up to 50% reduction in production costs (fewer operators, less energy, space and air conditioning) is possible.
