Export of Wuhan's private enterprises improve

MOFCOM reported that last year, the export of state-owned enterprises of Wuhan amounted to US$1.49 billion, and the export of foreign-funded enterprises reached US$501 million.

Export of private enterprises amounted to US$549 million, exceeding foreign-funded enterprises and ranking No.2 in Wuhan.

There were several private enterprises whose export exceeded US$15 million and that were ranked top 30 of Wuhan.

Up to now, there are 1616 foreign trade enterprises in Wuhan, out of which there are 1161 private enterprises, accounting for over 70 percent of total. Annual increase rate of export of private enterprises reaches 246.76 percent; private enterprises become a new growth engine for foreign trade of Wuhan.

There were 4 enterprises whose export exceeded US$100 million, and export of 6 categories products exceeded US$100 million.
