Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China conveyed that Harbin pays great concentration to developing foreign trade and promotes local products to overseas markets.
By now, Harbin has set up economic and trading ties with over 100 countries and regions. Consumers in 144 countries and regions are using Made-in-Harbin products.
In 2005, import and export of Harbin amounted to US$2.72 billion, of which export was US$1.24 billion, up by 40.4 percent compared with the same period last year.
Through great efforts, not only export of Harbin has increased quickly, multi markets with the key of Russia have also formed.
