In a bid to increase its nylon yarn manufacturing capacity, JCT Ltd is upgrading the polymerisation capacity for caprolactam from 30 tons a day (tpd) to 45 tpd.
The new capacity building scheme will be implemented at company's plant in Hoshiarpur, Punjab.
For this, company has injected Rs15 crore in the project that will be completed by Dec 2006.
It is also planning to increase the capacity to 50 tpd in the second phase, which is likely to be completed by May 2007.
