For the last four to five days, cotton prices are stable at Rs2475 per maund in Pakistan. Even today prices are steady at the same level, sources of Karachi Cotton Association revealed.
In ready cotton transactions, the country sees few bales changed hands at four stations. At Liaquat Pur, 1100 bales transacted for Rs2425 per maund, while 200 bales each transacted at RYK, Sarhari and Ubaro stations.
According to Cotlook Indices, A Index stood at 59.30 and B Index was at 57.15 on March 13, 2006.
