Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association reported that for 35 years in the market, Malharia Marles, located in the City of São Paulo, has supplied since September 2005 its noblest creation: the Bamboo fabric, in three different versions: halt knit with elasthane, suedine and piqué, to Brazilian clothing producers.

For Winter 2006, they are a little heavier, and lighter for Summer 2007.

It's a 100 percent ecological fabric that offers, besides lightness, touch and versatility, other attributes that are characteristic of the bamboo fiber, such as the protection against UV rays, anti-bactericide action, which eliminates sweat odors, high moisture absorption, besides its high thermodynamic capability, making it fresher in summer and warmer in winter.

Bamboo is a registered trademark of Marles, and it has already appeared in fashion shows across Brazil. At Fashion Rio, in January, it was part of Drosófila's collection for young women, and in the last São Paulo Fashion Week, it was used in Huis Clô's women's collection.

Consolidated in the last European fashion season, the fabric made of bamboo fiber also draw the attention of Italian Giorgio Armani, for its beauty and softness.
