Textile Machinery Workshop in Iran by ACIMIT & ICE

The reason of this widespread information activity is because the Italian textile machinery industry pays the highest attention to Iranian market, where the sales of Italian machinery were about Euro 40 million in 2005.

The most requested Italian machinery were the spinning ones (62 percent of the total export toward Iran), followed by finishing machines (16 percent) and knitting machines (14 percent).

300 Italian companies (with 22,500 employees) that in 2005 produced machinery for a value of Euro 2,600 million, pay the highest attention to the requests of the textile industry to propose new solutions of innovation, productivity, safety with the utmost satisfaction of their clients.

The quality of the Italian textile technology is testified by the high number of Countries where the Italian machinery are sold: about 125. In 2005 exports represent about 80 percent of total sales (worth Euro 2,200 million).

Asia (with a share of 42 percent) is the main destination for Italian sector exports, followed by other European countries extra-EU (21 percent), European Union (20 percent), Latin America (6 percent) and North America (6 percent).
