Another day of cotton price stability witnessed in Pakistan today. Prices are firm at Rs2425 per maund, sources of Karachi Cotton Association revealed.
Today, around 8600 cotton bales changed hands at four stations.
Khan Pur recorded transactions of just 200 bales at Rs2375, 4000 bales transacted at RYK between Rs2425 and Rs2475, 2000 bales sold at SDK for Rs2450 and 2400 bales changed hands at Upper Sindh between Rs2425 and Rs2475.
According to Cotlook Indices on March 23, 2006, A Index was 57.50 and B Index stood at 55.50.
