Cotton prices are stuck to the week-long level of Rs2425, informs the Karachi Cotton Association (KCA), today.
While more than 6510 cotton bales transacted, Gambhat station dominated cotton deals with 2200 bales changing hands at Rs2400 per maund.
In other stations, SDK witnessed 1710 cotton bales going for at Rs2470, 1000 bales at CSI for Rs2400, 1000 bales at Upper Sindh between Rs2450 and Rs2455, 400 bales at RYK for Rs2475 and 200 at Karoor Pacca for Rs2430 per maund.
According to Cotlook Indices, A Index was 57.50 and B Index stood at 55.60 on March 27, 2006.
