Rajesh Bhagat, Managing Director, Finesse Worldwide Expositions Pvt. Ltd. the organisers of the event, adds, “Intex serves as a gateway to international companies for the high potential South Asian markets of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Mauritius and Nepal. Intex is providing the Indian participants with triple advantage of showcasing to the domestic apparel manufacturers, exporters and international markets at a time – an advantage no other international show can offer.”

Intex will be held bi-annually in April and September to cater to both seasons, Spring- Summer and Autumn-Winter to enable exhibitors to reach out to the discerning buyers from the South Asia, year after year season after season.

With sops announced in the recent budget like identification of textile industry as one of the five sectors under 'manufacturing sector', extension of Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme, reduction of excise duty on all man-made fibre yarns and filament yarn from 16-8 percent import duty on all man made fibres and yarns from 15 percent to 10 percent, import duty on raw materials, continuation of 3 percent duty free import of trimmings and embellishments (EPC scheme) and many more…the textile industry is set to get major boost.

Against such a back drop, Intex achieves greater significance. Thus, organisers Finesse Worldwide Expositions Pvt. Ltd. a company with over two decades of experience in managing and organising trade fairs, in association with The Clothing Manufacturers' Association of India (CMAI) has added many special features to this event for making it the sourcing destination.
