Siyaram's J Hampstead readymades to debut in markets

Siyaram group has plans to foray into premium readymade garments segment with its high end fabric brand J Hampstead, mid April.
J Hampstead readymade ranges are scheduled to be marketed through 50 exclusive retail outlets to be established by end September 2006.
Brajesh A Shrivastava, Head (Marketing) J Hampstead said the company plans to project J. Hampstead as a lifestyle brand and offer formal and casual shirts, trousers and suits through exclusive retail outlets and readymade menswear.
Siyaram with its low end readymade menswear Oxemberg brand was popular in C and D category towns.
The group brought J Hampstead, an international worsted brand, to India in 1995.
Siyaram at present markets J Hampstead through 1900 direct retailers all over India.
Along with exclusive outlets, the company would also go for shop-in-shop concept for existing J Hampstead retailers.
Around 3,000 direct retailers would be in place by May 2006, adding another 30 by end 2006-07 in the second phase, he added.
J Hampstead hopes to end the current fiscal with sales worth Rs 80 crore with targetted Rs 125 crore for 2006-07, a jump of 50 percent, Srivastava said.
