Sinopec implements 'Clean Water and Blue Sky Project'

SINOPEC President Wang Tianpu attended the meeting and told Xinhua Net reporter that in the next two or three years, SINOPEC will invest RMB22.6 billion for energy conserving and emission reduction. Also, SINOPEC will found a coal chemical project in Guizhou.

President Wang Tianpu said that SINOEPC is implementing a Clean Water and Blue Sky Project. The Company is going to invest RMB22.6 billion in the next two to three years to reduce the emission of CO2, NOX, ammonia, nitrogen, and COD to the national standards.

Meanwhile, it will regularly open factories for people from the neighborhood to visit. SINOPEC aims to create a better living environment for the neighborhood so as to reach a harmonious and win-win ecological relation.
