After a two-week stability, cotton prices show some movement; however, this is not a positive change but a negative one as the prices slide down to Rs2400 from Rs2425 per maund today.
According to Karachi Cotton Association, in ready cotton, around 3000 bales transacted at three stations.
Rohri recorded transactions of 2000 bales at Rs2435, Bhawalnagar witnessed 680 bales at Rs2325 and only 400 bales changed hands at Chistian for Rs2385 per maund.
