Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan released the Preliminary Report on Textiles and Consumer Goods Statistics for the month of February 2006.
The textile sector consists of man-made fibers, spun yarn, woven fabrics, dyeing & finishing processes, clothes, other textile products.
Leather products statistics have also been included in the report.
