Bombay Dyeing & Mfg Co to hike polyester fiber output

Company official of leading textile and apparel maker Bombay Dyeing & Mfg. Co. Ltd. Informed that the company intends to invest Rs 350cr to enhance its chemical facility to accelerate its polyester fiber production up to 165,000 tons by the third quarter of 2006.
The company will established a processing and stitching facility in the western areas of Maharashtra, he added.
The company stated that it also planned to renovate its retail outlets and to raise polyester capacity.
Bombay Dyeing reported a net loss of Rs 3.43 crore for the fourth quarter ended March, compared with same period, a net profit of Rs 24.84 crore. Total revenue increased to Rs 291cr from Rs 282cr.
