Malaysian trade mission organized jointly with the Ministry of International Trade (MITI) and Industry and the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), these missions are led by the Minister or Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry.
Several missions are organized annually targeting both existing and new markets. The leadership of the Minister and Deputy Minister facilitates access to high-level officials and businessmen of the countries visited. It also raises the profile of the missions and the participants.
