CPC Corporation, Taiwan’s state-owned oil and gas company, will shut its No.5 naphtha cracker for maintenance turnaround next month.

“The cracker is planned to shut down for maintenance on May 2, 2014, and it is likely to remain off-stream for around two months,” a company official told fibre2fashion.

Located in Linyuan, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 500,000 mt/year, and propylene production capacity of 250,000 mt/year.
