Import & Export Price Indices rise 0.8% in Mar 2006

Singapore Statistics (Singstats) announces the comparison with Feb 2006, both the Import and Export Price Indices rose by 0.8 percent in Mar 2006 due primarily to higher oil prices.
The Singapore Manufactured Products Price Index fell by 0.4 percent in Mar 2006 over the previous month due to lower machinery & transport equipment prices.
The Domestic Supply Price Index rose by 0.9 percent in Mar 2006 as a result of higher oil prices.
