Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) announces Australian Merino wool bikinis have featured at the Mercedes Australian Fashion Week (MAFW) new generation show, with the launch of Josephine Nathan's label Woolliwoolli.
With the support of Australian Wool Innovation (AWI), Ms Nathan developed the unique bikinis by interweaving Merino fibres with lycra, to create swimsuits that capitalise on the natural quick dry elements of wool.
The MAFW new generation shows have been a starting block for internationally recognised designer labels such as Akira, Camilla & Marc, Tsubi and sass & bide.
