New Delhi based high quality cotton yarn producer Spentex Industries Ltd (SIL) has informed BSE about the following:
1. The Company has commenced commercial production of cotton yarn w.e.f. May 02, 2006 at its unit situated at Sanand, Ahmedabad which was acquired as a composite assets of Tai Chonbang Textile Industries Ltd, "as is where is" basis from Bank of India under SARFAESI Act and will reach at full capacity in the next 30 days.
2. The Company has also commenced production at its Solapur plant of the expansion phase. The Company has established additional manufacturing capacity of 50,000 spindles of cotton yarn and will reach at full capacity by end of June 06.
3. Subject to requisite approvals, the Company has executed Protocol of Intent with the State Joint-Stock Company "O'zbekyengilsanoat" for acquiring / establishing of Textile Production Facility of Cotton Spun Yarn in Uzbekistan.
