Rieter to hike focus on after-sales business

Switzerland based, spinning technologies manufacturer, Rieter has decided to hike focus on its after sales business and to do so, has set up a separate after sales division and also named an official to head it.

Rieter has appointed Carsten Liske to the group executive committee as head of the business group ‘After Sales’ from January 1, 2015.

As a part of implementing its core strategies, Rieter will be putting an emphasis on innovative strength and profitability as well as the development of after-sales business over the next three years.

In order to accelerate the development of after-sales business, functions that were till now part of the ‘Spun Yarn Systems’ business group until now will be combined into the new business group.

41-year-old plant Carsten Liske has been working for Rieter since 2009 and is currently senior vice president of operations of Spun Yarn Systems business group.

In this capacity, Carsten Liske contributed important further developments for the global supply chain and the business in China. (AR)
