“The feedback I got at IWTO was that nobody wants to lose the services AWS offers, especially the iconic Woolmark brand,” he said.
“We received full support from the IWTO including their President, Michael Lempriere. Our course of action is clear - when I get back to Australia, we will pursue the integration with AWI and hope that, for the benefit of woolgrowers, our Woolmark licencees and industry participants at all levels of the pipeline, we can solve the immediate issue of the UK Pension Scheme we face and look to a future which protects and capitalises on our valuable assets.”
