CFA crowned winners of 'adidas+Challenge', off to Berlin for finals

Integrated in the concept of +10, the biggest football marketing campaign in the history of the brand, adidas +CHALLENGE reflects the passion and inspiration young footballers feel around the world.

“We are the world's No.1 football brand. We constantly challenge ourselves to excite the youth through innovative products and extraordinary experiences,” said Andreas Gellner, Managing Director, adidas India.

“We are glad to note that adidas + CHALLENGE received such a tremendous response from Indian football enthusiasts. Each participant displayed wonderful team work and delivered his personal best to make this tournament a successful initiative.”

The global grassroots program started with a tournament in Rio de Janeiro in January and is being followed by local initiatives in over 40 countries.

In Asia, adidas +CHALLENGE is taking place in 12 countries - Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and India.

The captain of the French Team, Zinédine Zidane, is the global ambassador of the adidas +CHALLENGE. “Football inspired my entire life. I'm proud to give back to football what football gave to me. After more than ten years with adidas, I'm extremely honored to be the ambassador of the adidas +CHALLENGE.

This event perfectly reflects my understanding of what football is all about: respect, education, performance and fun - all at the same time!”, commented Zidane.
