Century Textile & Industries reported 40.74 percent fall in net profit to Rs252.10 million for the quarter ending in March 2006 compared to Rs425.40 million, same period last year.
Company's sales increased 5.41 percent to Rs7060.3 million and operating margins gained 5.85 percent in this quarter compared to same period in consideration.
Company's net margin dropped to 3.46 percent from 6.11 percent for March 2006 quarter.
