DSM to expand production capacity of polyester powder coating resins

DSM Coating Resins has decided to expand the capacity with 10 kt for polyester powder coating resins of its production plant at Santa Margarida (Spain).
Implementation is already under way and will be finished soon. The new capacity will be available as of July 1st 2006 onwards.
Dimitri de Vreeze, Business Unit Director of DSM Coating Resins, said, “The expansion is necessary to keep up with our continuous efforts on Innovation and therefore maintain DSM's leadership position in polyester powder coating resins. This expansion comes in addition to the other recently announced capacity expansions for the same type of resins at both our production sites in Asia. It reconfirms DSM's strong commitment to the coating resins Industry”.
