Michael Thamm (41) joined Bayer AG in 1988. After completing his training as a commercial assistant, he was employed in the former Dyes and Pigments Business Group. He gained international experience first in Morocco, where he worked from 1992 to 1996, and then in Brazil, where he was head of the Leather business unit until 2000.
LANXESS is one of the few suppliers to the leather industry whose portfolio includes virtually all the products required for leather production, such as inorganic and synthetic tanning materials and auxiliaries, preservatives and fatliquoring agents, dyestuffs and finishing products.
