Cotton markets closed at Rs2525 on Saturday and opened with the same price today, revealed Karachi Cotton Association.
In ready cotton transactions, only 2000 bales changed hands on June 10, 2006 at four stations.
SDU/Sanghar recorded transactions of thousand bales at Rs2400 per maund and Moro/Dadu registered thousand at Rs2600 per maund.
According to Cotlook Indices, A Index was 57.45 and B Index stood at 55.00 on June 9, 2006.
Today, only one station, NWS, registered cotton transactions of 1000 bales at Rs2575 per maund.
