Price lethargy prevails on cotton markets

Another day of stability in cotton prices at markets in Pakistan, informed Karachi Cotton Association today.

Prices did not move from its previous level of Rs2525 per maund.

In Ready Cotton, four stations recorded transactions of around 2000 bales today.

Kacha Khoo recorded 500 bales transacted at Rs2350, Kigri witnessed sale of 1000 bales at Rs2600, Punjab Cotton saw 476 bales changed hands at Rs2665 and Sindh Cotton registered transactions of just 200 bales at Rs2575.

According to Cotlook Indices, A Index was 57.55 and B Index stood at 55.15 on June 13, 2006.
