Chinese leather is walking all over the world as more international companies have set up their corporate offices and production units in Chengdu city.
CTC Group of France has established an office in Chengdu; the group is an expert in quality assurance, consultancy and training for leather segment and has started its operations of examining quality of leather products delivered by shoe enterprises based in Chengdu.
This will facilitate shoe industry of Chengdu to have an easy access to international leather markets as a result.
According to an estimate, total output will reach 200 million pairs of shoes by 2008 estimated at about RMB10 billion.
