A high-visibility warning vest made of a special functional polyester fiber that reflects light under different conditions is one of them.
Upon wearing the vest, drivers can foresee the wearer from a distance and prevent a possible collision.
The vest originally is of two colours, yellow and orange, with several light-reflecting bands around conforming to EN471 international standard.
By wearing this vest, traffic officers can execute their duties with ease and without fear.
TTRI assures to assist textile manufacturers to develop and manufacture this vest commercially.
The other clothing developed by TTRI is quick-wicking and quick-drying police shirt made up of a special functional fiber consisting of 35 percent cotton and 65 percent polyester.
TTRI developed these shirts especially to offer more comforts to officers while they wear them particularly during hot weather.
The shirt is much more moisture-wicking than before and supports them to perform their jobs easier.
TTRI pioneers in its continued efforts to provide innovative and functional textiles.
It has won several awards, including the latest at INPEX 2006 held in Pittsburgh for its commitments to the design and innovation of textile.
