Trevira announces the transfer of its head office. The new headquarters will be in Bobingen. The process of concentrating finance and accounting in the original works began in January and now the seat of the Board has officially transferred to this site.

CEO Jörg Hellwig moved at the start of April to Bobingen. The Hattersheim location, with Marketing & Sales/Distribution, will continue as a sales office.

“Bobingen is the parent plant of Trevira – it was here that Trevira fibres and filaments were first produced, and we still have the two product lines together in the one location,“ Jörg Hellwig says in justifying the decision.

"As the main site of the development department, Bobingen is important for the future of the group. When seeing customers now I am able as CEO to present the benefits the Trevira brand holds for our customers much better than was possible in Hattersheim. Being closer to production as well, this enables me to make much more intensive contacts with our people. At the same time, our other locations, especially Guben, remain in focus."

Trevira GmbH, a company of the Reliance Group, India, is Europe's leading manufacturer of branded textile polyester fibres and filament yarns. Production operations are located in Belgium, Denmark, Germany and Poland.
