Hardwearing soft-shell innovations from Schoeller
Thanks to their low weight and high level of elasticity, many of the comfortable-to-wear fabric innovations feel like a second skin. These are complemented by new, very light and at the same time bulky variants of soft-shells with an “airy volume”.
The first fabrics of this kind were presented in the last Fall/Winter Collection: They were very well received in the market due to their extremely high level of vapour permeability yet with tangible heat protection.
More than a soft-shell - In addition, a silver-ion based coating technology is being used for the first time, which the Swiss company employs to prevent the spread of bacteria of all kinds and the occurrence of unpleasant perspiration odours. It can be applied to every Schoeller fabric and combined with other technologies such as 3XDRY, NanoSphere, c_change or schoeller-PCM.
Multifunctional for 9 out of 10 outdoor days - Soft-shells are an alternative to the classic layer principle and offer 100% function for 90% of all activities.
In the mountains or when it is raining, even in summer, they can serve, as required, as a fleece or woollen jersey and rain jacket in one due to the particularly good vapour permeability (breathability) and the outstanding run-off properties.
